Snow Storm Preparation and Clean up
In the event that the snow fall in our area is as substantial as is being predicted, we will require your cooperation in addressing snow plow operations as follows:
  • Vehicles should not be parked along streets wherever possible and should absolutely not be parked on snow emergency routes - where vehicles may be subject to towing. View emergency snow routes.
  • Be sure to have your refuse and recycling carts stored away from curbs.
  • Large snow events will require multiple plow visits that may result in new snow piles at driveways, around parked vehicles, and possibly sidewalks. This may require you to shovel more than once. Please do so accordingly. Due to the expected size of the snow event, the City is extending the period of time required to clear your sidewalk of snow and ice from 24 hours to 48 hours after the end of the snow event.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
